Service Description

A complete two-day (approx. 16-hour) training that meets provincial occupational health and WSIB standards. You'll be fully prepared to manage life-threatening emergencies—from CPR and AED use across all age groups to advanced first aid scenarios like fractures, seizures, environmental emergencies, strokes, and more. Certification is valid for 3 years and includes CPR Level C/AED competency. Key Components: - Emergency Scene Management (calling EMS, situational safety) - Primary & Secondary Assessments - CPR for adults, children, and infants, including AED use - Advanced first aid skills: controlling bleeding, treating shock, fractures/dislocations, burns, soft tissue injuries, spinal/head injuries - Medical emergencies: seizures, diabetes, respiratory issues (asthma, anaphylaxis), stroke, heart attack - Environmental emergencies: hypothermia, heat-related conditions, poisoning - Musculoskeletal injuries, victim transport, and multiple casualty response
